23 - 26 April 2018 the Financing for Development Forum will take place in New York. The forum brings together international leaders from around the world with the ambition to take the Addis Agenda and the Global Sustainability Goals to concrete action.
Two years ago today the United Nations, backed by 193 member states, launched a blueprint for sustainable development towards 2030. The 17 Sustainable Development Goals cover a range of critical environmental and social issues like climate change, healthcare, education and clean water. If achieved, these goals would deliver a sustainable and well-functioning global community.
The Global Opportunity Explorer is a platform offering direct access to the most innovative solutions and market opportunities. The Explorer is a guide to hundreds of sustainable solutions and market opportunities addressing the SDGs. I veckan som gick träffades regeringschefer från världens alla hörn i New York för att anta FN:s 17 nya hållbara utvecklingsmål och sätta världen i en ny riktning. I samband med mötet samlades även flera företagsledare för att diskutera hur näringslivet kan ta en aktiv roll och vara en del av lösningen. SPPs vd Staffan Hansén var självklart på plats.
Den 24-25 september samlas FNs 193 medlemsstater i New York för att anta de nya globala utvecklingsmålen och sätta världen i en ny riktning; Transforming Our World: The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
